After you have set up and sent a payment request in Spond Club, it's essential to understand the subsequent steps and how to manage them effectively. Here's a comprehensive guide on what to expect and how to handle various scenarios post-payment request.

Before You Start: Set up a Payment Request

First you need to set up a payment request. You can find out how to do that here.


Members with the Spond App

Members who have downloaded the Spond app and are in a group will receive a push notification about payment requests. It will look like this:

Parents or guardians will also receive notifications and can process payments for themselves and their children.


Members without the Spond App

Members with only a telephone number registered will receive the payment request by text message.

Members who have not downloaded the app, or who have the app but are not in a group, will receive the notification by email"

Yes, you can change the price or exempt a member after sending the payment request. Simply scroll down to the recipients and press 'Edit'.

What happens when a payment is overdue?

When a payment is overdue, you can send a reminder. The payment reminder will appear in both the email and the app. Members who don't have the app will receive the reminder by email.

How can I track payment reminders sent to members?

When you send a reminder, you can see when the last reminder was sent and how many reminders the member has received. This helps you keep track of follow-up actions.
