As a parent or guardian, you can manage all of your children’s Spond invitations. You will be able to reply to events that the child has been invited to, and receive push notifications when new information is added to the group.
If the child is old enough to reply themselves it's also possible for admins to add a contact point for the child (member) so they can respond to events, etc.
in the same way as their parent or guardian.
There is no limit as to how many guardians each single child can have.
What happens if multiple parents or guardians respond to an event?
The most recent response will apply. The child and all guardians that are connected with that child will receive a push notification alerting them that their response has changed.
Can the child also respond?
Yes, if the administrator adds a contact point for the child (member), they will receive a group invite. They can accept this and be notified in the same way as their parents or guardians.
Can I get be invited to events as parent or guardian?
Yes, the administrator can invite you to events the same way as members. You will then be asked to respond on behalf of yourself as well as the child. (See screenshot below)
Can I what I want to receive push notifications about?
Yes, please read Can I decide what push notifications I want to receive?.
Can I edit the child's profile?
Yes, if the admin has allowed this in the group settings, guardians can add other guardians and edit other member information.
I have multiple children in the same group, how does it work?
The admin has to add the members separately, the same way as any other members, and you will get a group invite for both to accept. If you use the group code to get access to the group, you need to input the code in the app for each child you would like to add to the group.
