Spond Superdraw is a simple and fun way to raise money for any club or group using the Spond team management platform, which means the Spond app or Spond Club. Itā€™s a three-times-yearly networked draw, so any club or group using Spond can sign up and, if you use Spond Club, itā€™s possible to add multiple groups to your campaign.

Prizes are provided by Spond and participating clubs or groups get to keep a percentage of any sales generated by their own members and supporters.


Why Spond Superdraw?

Many clubs and groups need a little help right now, and a lot of these are also struggling for volunteer resources and support. Here at Spond, we want to do our bit, and we believe that simple fundraising tools are a genuinely game changing addition to our sports team management platform. With Spond Superdraw, we do the hard work for you, so all you need to do is sell entries. Whether itā€™s fundraising for a specific project, new kit or simply to top up group funds, itā€™s one more tool you can try to keep the funds coming in, without taking hours of admin time.


How does Spond Superdraw work?

Spond runs one Spond Superdraw every calendar month. Clubs or groups can set up a campaign and join the draw at any time up to seven days before the draw takes place.

  • Spond Superdraw is free to set up. The draw is syndicated and all prizes are supplied by Spond, which means you get to keep 65% of all entries sold by your club or group. The other 35% is retained by Spond to cover administration of the draw, payment processing and the prize(s).

  • The prize(s) will change each month and will be clearly advertised on the draw pages in the Fundraising section of the Spond app.

  • Admins setting up a campaign can nominate members to sell entries for Spond Superdraw, and they will each receive their own personal selling page. For members under 18, this will be controlled by their nominated parent or guardian.

  • All aspects of the draw itself, apart from sale of entries, are managed by Spond, which means you can focus all your energies on maximising sales for your club or group.


What do you get with Spond Superdraw?

Spond will manage all aspects of the campaign, so you can focus on selling entries to raise money for your club or group. You will get:

  • A dedicated page for your Spond Superdraw campaign based on the details provided by you, including sales figures for your club or group and details of which members have sold the most entries.

  • Individual selling pages for all members nominated to sell Spond Superdraw entries.

  • Processing of payments.

  • All prizes are paid out and/or paid for by Spond.

  • Management of Spond Superdraw itself and selection of the winners.

  • Verification of the identity and eligibility of the prize winners and payment/delivery of the prize.


Starting your Spond Superdraw campaign

How to start a Superdraw campaign


Got to the Fundraising tab in the Spond app and select ā€˜Spond Superdrawā€™

  1. You can select your campaign to start. All draws run for a at least one full calendar month and your campaign will never run for less than seven days. This means you can start a campaign at any time and you will always have at last one week in which to promote your campaign.

  2. Nominate the members you would like to be sellers for Spond Superdraw. For members under 18, a parent or guardian will be nominated.

  3. This field is optional - If you have been given a promocode by another club or group, enter it here. They may receive some extra funds or another gift from Spond for helping to promote Spond Superdraw.

  4. Set your target sales goal for each member - This will help to motivate sellers and will also give them something to aim for. Be realistic, without making it too easy to reach.

  5. Once you are happy with the details you have entered, move to the next step.

  6. Once you have viewed the preview of your campaign, confirm and move to the next step.

  7. Input the details of the bank account you would like the funds raised in your campaign to be paid to. Ideally, this should be the account belonging to your club or group, although you can use your personal bank account if your group does not have its own.

  8. Please make sure that the name you enter matches the name of the account holder.

  9. We will send an email to confirm the payout once it is processed. Please tell us where we should send this. If you have a treasurer for your group, or someone who deals with finance, it should go to them.

  10. Please accept the terms and conditions of Spond Superdraw. We strongly encourage you to read these before setting your campaign live.

  11. Save the payout details, and thatā€™s it. Youā€™re all ready to go. Weā€™ll send you an email to confirm your campaign has been set up, and each of your nominated sellers will also receive a notification, including a link to their personal selling page.

How to enter Spond Superdraw


First you need to get to the entry page. All sellers have a personal selling page that they can share with you, either by sending you the link direct or showing you a QR code that you can scan.

  1. Once youā€™re on the page, youā€™ll be able to see a brief note telling you how the funds raised will be used by the club or group you are supporting.

  2. You will also see details on the prizes being offered and the time remaining till the draw takes place. This may change every month depending on the time of year.

  3. First of all, you need to decide how many entries you want. The price per entry may vary depending on the prizes being offered. As a general rule, however, the more entries you buy, the cheaper the price per entry will be.

    • You can choose a free postal entry if you wish, which will give you one chance to win the Spond Superdraw. Although this will be treated just like a paid entry, you should note that the group you are supporting will not receive any contribution from a free postal entry.

  4. Next, tell us how you want to pay for your entries, you can choose from PayPal, Visa or Mastercard.

  5. On the next page, you will be asked to enter your contact information. We need this to confirm your entries and also to contact you if you win. You will also be asked to accept the entrant T&Cs of Spond Superdraw, and confirm that you are aged 18 or over.

  6. Next, you 'll be asked to complete your payment using whichever method you have chosen, and your entries will be confirmed.

  7. Finally, you will see a confirmation page showing the numbers of your entries. We will also send you an email. Thereā€™s no need to write the entry numbers down either as Spond will contact all winners personally.

Thatā€™s it, you're done. Sit back and relax, secure in the knowledge that, win or lose, youā€™ve contributed to a great cause, which will be hugely appreciated by the members of your chosen group.

  • The prizes are fulfilled for by Spond and are guaranteed to be won, regardless of how many people play or how many entries are sold.

  • Each entry to Spond Superdraw gives you one chance to win and the odds of winning Spond Superdraw will depend on how many entries are sold. To increase your chances of winning, simply purchase more entries.

  • The prizes will be clearly advertised for each draw.

  • In addition to the top prize, Spond Superdraw often offers runners-up prizes, which will be announced before each draw.

  • These awesome prizes are possible because Spond Superdraw is a networked draw, with multiple Spond groups setting up fundraising campaigns. This means that we are able to offer seriously impressive prizes, while groups benefit directly from every entry purchased by their members or supporters.

  • Every entry has an equal chance of winning the top prize. It doesnā€™t matter which club or group the winner supports.
