How can I change language?

You can choose to have Spond in nine different languages: Danish, English, French, Italian, Dutch, Norwegian, Spanish, Swedish, and German. In the app version, the language changes based on your phone settings. In the web version, you can change the language within your profile.

How to change language

iPhone (iOS):

  1. Go to phone settings

  2. Hold your finger on the screen and swipe down

  3. A search field will appear

  4. In the search field, type Spond

  5. Tap the Spond logo

  6. Tap Language

  7. Choose your preferred language

Android:

  1. Settings

  2. General Management

  3. Language

  4. Arrange languages in the desired order. The top language is the one chosen by the Spond app

    ⚠️ NOTE!
    For Android users: It is not possible to change the language only for the Spond app. If you change the language as described above, it will change the system language for the entire phone.

Web-version:

  1. Sign in to your Spond profile here

  2. Click your profile picture

  3. Profile

  4. Under Language, choose your preferred language

  5. Click Save at the bottom of the page



How do I change my country?

It's important that you select the correct country based on your location, as some features are only available for specific countries

How to change country

App:

  1. Open the app

  2. Tap your profile picture

  3. Profile and account

  4. Country or region

  5. Search for the country you want and select it

Web-version:

  1. Sign in to your Spond profile here

  2. Click your profile picture

  3. Profile

  4. Under Country or region, click the down arrow in the dropdown menu.

  5. Type in the country

  6. Click the country you wish to select

  7. Click Save at the bottom of the page



How do I change time zone?

Having the correct time zone is crucial to ensure that the times in created events are accurate

How to change time zone

App:

  1. Open the app

  2. Tap your profile picture

  3. Profile and account

  4. Time zone

  5. Enter the location in the search field

  6. Tap the desired location

Web-version:

  1. Sign in to your Spond profile here

  2. Click your profile picture

  3. Profile

  4. Under Time zone, click the down arrow in the dropdown menu

  5. Enter the location

  6. Click the location you desire

  7. Click Save at the bottom of the page



FAQs

Time zone

I get an error message when trying to create recurring events and use the season planner. What should I do?


Check if you have entered a timezone in your profile. If no timezone is selected, you will receive an error message, and it will not be possible to use the season planner or recurring event feature.

Why does the start time of an event appear differently in my phone calendar than in the app/why is there a different start time for an event with another member than with me?


If you have a different time in your phone calendar compared to the Spond app calendar, it is likely due to an incorrect time zone setting in the app. This also applies if another member has a different time than you; in that case, either you or the other member may have an incorrect time zone setting in the app

Why is Spond not available in other countries?


Today, the Spond app is available for download in the following countries: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, USA, and Austria.
