Home screen (Spond app)

When you open the Spond app, you are taken to the Home screen. Here you get a combined overview of events, posts, payments, and polls. You can also access your Spond profile and settings from here.

In the top left of the Home screen, you will see your profile picture. This is the picture displayed next to your name in the groups you are a member of. Tapping your profile picture takes you to the profile overview and settings. From here you can, amongst other things, change personal settings, language, security, notifications, and calendar settings.

Under the Home heading, you will find the menu bar with the options Events, Posts, Payments and Polls.

In the Events tab, you will find a weekly overview of upcoming events you have been invited to, across your groups. Tap on Upcoming, to the left of the icon with the three horizontal lines, to open the filter. Here you can choose whether you want to see upcoming or past events. You can also choose whether recurring events, declined events, and availability requests should be displayed.
In addition, you can filter so that only events with a registration fee are shown.

In the Posts tab, all posts published in your groups are displayed. Tapping a post opens it. Here you can react to the post or write a comment, if the person who created the post has allowed comments. Read articles about posts in groups.

In the Payments tab, all payment requests sent to you from the groups you are part of are displayed. If you are an administrator in a group with permissions to create payment requests, you will also see the outstanding amount remaining for a payment request, as well as how many have accepted, not responded, and eventually declined, which only applies if the payment request has been set as optional.

If you tap the filter icon (the three horizontal lines) to the right of «Active», the filter and sort menu opens. Here you can filter by Active, Completed, or All, and sort by Deadline or when the payment requests were Sent, and whether the oldest or newest should appear first in the list.

In the Polls tab, you will find all polls created in your groups. Read more about polls in groups.

You must be an administrator or have the appropriate permissions in the group to create a poll. If you are an administrator but still do not see the Add button under the Polls tab, it means your administrator role does not include access to polls.

Tap the ✚ in the top right (iPhone) or bottom right (Android).

Here you can create an event, a post, a payment, a poll, or a fundraising campaign.
