How to use the payment overview in a group (Spond app)

As a group administrator, you have full access to all payment requests in your group. Under «Payments» in the group, you will find two tabs that give you different types of insight.

This is how you find the payment overview in the app: Groupsselect a groupPayments.

Requests

  • Here you can see all payment requests created in the main group or the sub-group you are currently viewing.

  • If you tap the filter icon (the three horizontal lines) to the right of «Active», the filter and sorting menu opens.

You can filter by Active, Completed or All, and sort by Due date or when the payment requests were Sent, and whether the oldest or newest should appear first in the list. Tap Done to apply your selections.

Recipients

Here you get an overview of all recipients of payment requests created in a main group. If you tap the filter icon (the three horizontal lines) to the right of «All», the filter and sorting menu opens.

You can filter by all recipients or only those with overdue payments, and sort the list in ascending or descending order. Tap Done to apply your selections.

Viewing a payment request

When you navigate to Groups → select a group → Payments, or tap Payments from the home screen, you get an overview of payment requests. If you are an administrator for the group, you can by open a payment request and see how many members have each payment status, as well as the total amount for each status. The amount is shown to the right of the relevant status line.

The statuses depend on the type of payment request:

  • Mandatory: Has paid and Has not paid.

  • Optional: Has paid, Has not responded and Has declined.

⚠️ NOTE! If optional products have been created, the total for members who have not responded or have declined will be an estimate based on the base price only. Optional products are not included in the total. If no base price has been set, the estimate is instead calculated from the cheapest optional product.

⚠️ NOTE!

  • The features described in this article cannot be used in the web version of the Spond app.

  • The Recipients function can only be used for payment requests created in the main group, not in sub-groups.
