Other functions for group admins

There are some other functions that you as an admin in the group can see and use. In this help article, you'll find an explanation of what the different functions are and how to use them.


Member list

When you're in the group, you can select Members to receive a list of all members in the group. In the same place, you can select Administrators to view all others with an admin role. Contact information for the group's contact person will be visible to everyone.

When you're in the member list, Select member and do the following:

  • See the member's contact information (only if the member you are an admin with editing rights on members)

  • See the member's guardians

  • Contact the member and any guardians via messages in Spond. If the member has chosen to have their contact information visible, you can also send an email/call

  • Edit the member and/or guardian

  • Delete the member

You can also export the member list (Excel).


Push notifications in groups (App only)

It's possible to customise push notification settings per group and subgroup if you wish. This can only be done in the mobile app.

How to customise push notifications in groups and subgroups

  1. Open the app

  2. Groups

  3. Select the required group

  4. Select the bell 🔔

  5. You can now choose between the main group and/or subgroup(s) and set what you want to be notified about or switch on/off push notifications for the entire group/subgroup.

Subgroups automatically use push settings from the main group, but if you wish, you can have different settings on the main group and the subgroup(s).


Favourite groups

If you've one or more groups that you are very active in or just really like, you can mark it as a favourite ⭐️. It will then appear at the top of the group overview in the app and web version.

How to mark a group as a favourite


App:

  1. Open the app

  2. Groups

  3. Select the required group

  4. In the top right corner you'll see a star

  5. Select this and the group is activated as a favourite

  6. You can deselect the group as a favourite at any time by selecting the star again

Web:

  1. Log in to your Spond profile here

  2. Select your required group

  3. At the top left of the group's profile picture, you'll see a star

  4. Select this and the group is activated as a favourite

  5. You can deselect the group as a favourite at any time by selecting the star again


Create posts, polls, events and payment requests as an ordinary group member

To create posts, polls, events and payment requests , Select the ➕ sign in the top right (iPhone) or bottom right (Android). On the web, under the taskbar where you can Select to see Events, Posts, Payments, Reconciliations etc. you'll see a new taskbar explaining which feature you can create, such as Events or Posts.

⚠️ NOTE: If you don't see the ➕ sign in the mobile app or the extra taskbar (Web version), you do not have the correct admin rights to create one or more of the functions mentioned above. If you think you need the right to do this, please contact the group's contact person/admin.


Fundraising

⚠️ Fundraising campaigns with digital scratch cards, product sales and the Vipps-feature are only available in Norway 🇳🇴

In this view, you'll find the fundraising feature. Members of the group can sell everything from raffle tickets, various products and greeting cards to family, friends and acquaintances. By selling this, your groups earn money. Products and prizes are delivered to the door and payment is made via Vipps. Read more about fundraising.
