Registering bank cards and verification 🇳🇴

⚠️ Cashback is only available in Norway

To collect Cashback and support groups in Spond, you can add up to three bank accounts. By registering a bank account, you'll receive Cashback for all bank cards linked to this account at all times. If two people share an account, remember that only the account owner can add the account to the system.

⚠️ NOTE!

Cashback won't be registered if you pay with a mobile phone and/or smartwatch. You need to use the physical card, either contactless, with a chip, or with the magnetic stripe. 💳


Why do bank account numbers need to be registered?

When you add your account number, we share it with Storebox by Nets to track and distribute Cashback transactions. We priorities your privacy and security and only receive basic transaction data such as store name, time and amount. These details are shown in the receipt overview in the app and we do not have access to detailed purchase data.

When you add a bank account, you need to verify that you've access to it. This can be done in two ways, either via Vipps or directly from your bank.

How to add a bank account

App:

  1. Open the app

  2. Select fundraising in the bottom right corner

  3. Cashback

  4. Scroll down and select Your bank cards

  5. You'll now be able to connect one or more of your bank accounts, either via Vipps or to retrieve info. from your bank

    • Select, Retrieve from Vipps

      • Select Retrieve from Vipps

      • Follow the instructions

      • Select the account(s) you want to link to Cashback in Spond

      • Select Add bank account number

    • Select, collect from your bank

      • Select Select your bank

        • iPhone: You'll receive a message that "Spond will use tink.com to log in". Select Continue

      • Find your bank in the preview list or search, select your bank and follow the instructions

  6. You'll now see a list of verified accounts that are now connected to Cashback on your Spond profile

  2. Select Fundraising on the top line

  3. Select Cashback in the side menu on the left

  4. Your bank cards

      • Go to Vipps

      • Enter your phone number and follow the instructions

      • Select the account(s) you want to link to Cashback in Spond

      • Select Add bank account number

    • Select, Get from your bank

      • Select Select your bank

        • Find your bank in the preview list or search, select your bank and follow the instructions

  7. You'll now see a list of verified accounts that are now connected to Cashback on your Spond profile


FAQs

If I pay contactless with my phone or smartwatch at one of Spond's Cashback partners, will I still receive Cashback?

No, unfortunately. Cashback is not registered if you pay with a mobile phone and/or smartwatch. You need to use the physical card, either contactless, with a chip, or with the magnetic stripe. 💳

I haven't received Cashback even though I have shopped with one or more of the cards linked to Cashback at Spond. Why not?

Our customer centre is here to help, please contact us and we will look into the matter. In order for us to investigate this thoroughly, we need the following information:

  • Bank statement: We need a statement showing the last four digits of your account number, the purchase price and the payee.

  • Receipt: If you still have it, we ask for a copy of the physical receipt.

As soon as we have received the necessary documentation, we will investigate the reason why the Cashback was not registered automatically. If there is no error, we will ensure that the Cashback for your purchase is registered manually.
