⚠️ Coaches Corner is currently available only to a randomly selected set of groups/teams.
Coaches Corner is a feature in the Spond app that makes it easier for coaches and administrators to collaborate across teams and within the team/club. Instead of managing several WhatsApp groups or relying on the club to connect everyone, Coaches Corner brings all communication together in one shared space. Here you can start direct conversations between admins, get automatically updated group chats as roles change, and soon you will also have access to shared calendars and be able to publish posts.

The goal is to make coordination between teams and coaches both easier and more efficient. By bringing administrators and group leaders together in one shared area, it becomes easier to plan smarter, collaborate better and free up time to focus on what matters most.
Create a Coaches Corner
As an administrator of a group, you can use Coaches Corner in the Spond app to connect the group you manage with other groups.

In the Spond mobile app, go to Groups.
At the top, you will see a box introducing Coaches Corner and giving you the option to set it up.
Tap the Try Coaches Corner button.
On the next screen, tap Continue at the bottom.
In this view, you will see other groups that may be connected to your group. Select the groups you want to connect with the groups you manage.

Here you can see other groups that may be connected to your group. Select the groups you want to connect with, or tap Select all.Select your groups
Here you will see the groups you are an administrator of, and which can be linked to other groups. Select the ones you want to connect, or tap Select all.
Tap Continue when you are done making your selections.
In this step, you enter the name of the club or team your group(s) are connected to. This is used to confirm that you are linking the groups to the correct club or team. Once you have entered the club or team name, tap Join to continue.
Coaches Corner is ready 🎉
Collaborate with the administrators in the club or team by chatting, and soon by using the shared calendar and posting or reading important updates.
Administrators and group leaders have access to Coaches Corner. You can turn this off under roles and permissions in your group.
💡 Once Coaches Corner has been created, you can find it by going to Groups and then under Clubs.
Join Coaches Corner via invitation
With this invitation, you gain access to Coaches Corner, where you can collaborate with group leaders and administrators in other groups within the club or team.

In the Spond mobile app, go to Notifications
If you have been invited to Coaches Corner, you will see a notification saying that a club or team has invited you to join Coaches Corner.
For example: Nordvik IF has invited you to join Coaches Corner.
Tap the notification.
On the next screen, tap Continue at the bottom.
In this view, you will see an overview of the groups in the club or team that are already connected to Coaches Corner, your own groups that you can link, as well as suggestions for other groups that can be invited to the club’s or team’s Coaches Corner.

Tap the club or team name to see an overview of the groups that are already part of the club’s or team’s Coaches Corner.
Select your groups
Here you will see the groups you administer that can be connected to other groups. Select the ones you want to connect, or tap Select all.Invite groups
Here you will see suggestions for groups that can be invited to the club’s or team’s Coaches Corner. Select the ones you want to invite, or tap Select all.
Tap Join when you are finished making your selections.

Add groups to an existing Coaches Corner
If there is already an existing Coaches Corner for groups in the club or team, this will appear after you tap the "Join" button in the Coaches Corner box in the “Groups” view.

In the Spond mobile app, go to Groups.
At the top, you will see a box that informs you about Coaches Corner and gives you the option to join an existing Coaches Corner.
Tap the Join button.
On the next page, tap Continue.
In this view, you will see the existing Coaches Corner at the top, created with groups from within the club or team. Below that, you will see a list of the groups you are an administrator of, which you can link to the club’s or team’s existing Coaches Corner.
Once you have selected the group(s) you want to add to the existing Coaches Corner, tap "Join" at the bottom.
A request will now be sent to the group administrators who are part of the existing Coaches Corner.
You will find the pending request at the top of the “Groups” view.
When one of the administrators either approves or declines your request, you will receive a notification that appears under the "Notifications" view.
