Contact Information

Here, you can enter the club’s email address so visitors can easily get in touch with you. The email address will always be visible at the top left of the club’s website, making it easy for members and other interested parties to find your contact information.

Social Media

Add links to the club’s profiles on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube to make it easy for visitors to find and follow the club’s social media channels.
Once the social media fields are filled in, icons linking to these profiles will always be visible at the top right of the club’s website, providing visitors with convenient access to the club’s updates and activities across platforms.

Norsk Tipping Grasrotandelen (Available in Norway only)

When a club has activated Norsk Tipping Grasrotandelen in Spond Club, the club’s organisation number is linked to Grasrotandelen, allowing supporters to select the club as a recipient of a share of Norsk Tipping’s surplus.

Activate Norsk Tipping Grasrotandelen

  1. Enter the organisation number of the club/sports team

  2. Tick the box next to “Enable Grasrotandelen

  3. Click “Save” at the bottom right

Once Grasrotandelen is activated in Spond Club, a section will automatically be generated on the club’s website. This section provides visitors with information on how they can support the club through Grasrotandelen.
They will be able to see:

  • The club’s name and organisation number

  • The total amount generated so far this year

  • The number of registered Grasrot donors

  • A graph displaying the development of Grasrotandelen income and the number of supporters

  • A button allowing new supporters to easily register as Grasrot donors

This feature enables the club to display information about Grasrotandelen income and the number of registered donors directly on its website, while also providing an easy way for new supporters to register as Grasrot donors for the club.

Website Visibility

In this menu, you can choose whether the website should be published or unpublished.

  • Select “Published” if you want the site to be available online, visible to the public, and indexed by search engines. A pop-up window will appear, where you must either confirm the publication of the website or cancel.

  • Select “Unpublished” if you want the site to be inaccessible via the URL, search engines, or similar. Then, click Save at the bottom right.

💡TIP!

  • When the website is unpublished, its status is always visible regardless of where you are in the “Website” menu in the left-hand sidebar.

At the top of each page in this menu, a message will appear, informing you that the website is currently offline. Through this message, you can also visit the unpublished site or publish it again.

  • Regardless of whether the website is live or not, and no matter which submenu you are in under WebsiteAdmin panel, you will always be able to see the publication status (Published/Unpublished) at the top right, next to the button for previewing or visiting the website.

Clicking on the status will take you directly to the settings where you can publish or unpublish the website.

⚠️ NOTE!

When you unpublish the site, it is immediately removed from the internet, but it may still appear in Google search results for up to three weeks.

The same applies when you publish the site again. It may take up to three weeks before it becomes visible in search engines, depending on when Google updates its indexing. This process happens automatically and cannot be expedited.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do visitors see if they try to access an unpublished website via the URL?

If your website is unpublished, visitors who try to access it via the URL will see a message stating that the site is under construction.

This message informs them that the website is not yet available but will be published soon.

This means that no one can access the site’s content until you publish it.
