To create a news article, click on 'Create News Article' and complete the fields on the left:

Categories: (Write the desired category title and add it. You can choose an existing category or create a new one.)
Upload an image for the article
Content: Write the article content, and upload multiple images within the text if needed.
You can then publish the article directly or save it as a draft for later publication.
Before the news article can be visible on the homepage, go to 'Pages' and add News (using the plus sign between the headline and custom content). Give the page a title before adding it from 'Navigation'.
