As a guardian, you will be able to manage all of your children’s Spond invitations. You will be able to reply to events that the child has been invited to, and to receive push notifications when new information is added to the group. If the child is old enough to reply themselves it is also possible for admin to add a contact point on the child (member) so they can respond to events etc. in the same way as the guardians. Read more about this here.

There is no limit as to how many guardians each single child can have.

What happens if both guardians reply to an event?

The most recent answer will apply. The child and all guardians that are connected with that child will receive a push notification alerting them that their answer has changed.

Can the child also respond?

Yes, if the administrator adds a contact point on the child (member) as well they will receive a group invite, can accept this and be notified in the same way as the guardians. Read more

Can I get invited to events as guardian?

Yes, the administrator can invite you to events the same way as members. You will then be asked to respond on behalf of yourself as well as the children. (See screenshot below)

Can I as a guardian choose what I want to receive push notifications about?

Can I edit a child's profile as a guardian

Yes, if the admin has allowed this in the group settings, guardians can add other guardians and edit other member information. Read more

I have multiple children in the same group, how does it work?

The admin has to add the members separately the same way as other members and you will get a group invite for both to accept. If you use the group code to get access to the group you need to input the code in the app for each child you would like to add to the group. Read more
