In Spond Club, club events refer to activities organised at the club level, relevant to the entire club or multiple groups, as opposed to events specific to a single group. These could include meetings, tournaments, training camps, or other activities that involve several sections of the club.e club.


Overview of Club Events

By selecting 'Club Events' from the menu, you can view a comprehensive list of all the club's events, both 'upcoming' and 'past.' This overview provides key details such as event titles, start dates, registration deadlines, and participant information.

To make it easier to locate specific events, you can use the filtering function, sorting events by group name, date, or other relevant criteria.


Managing Upcoming Events

  • Cancel Event: Within the selected event, click on the three small dots (...) and select 'Cancel.' You can either cancel the event, which will mark it as cancelled in the event list, or delete the event, which removes it from the overview without notifying participants.

  • Edit Event: Click on the three small dots (...) and select 'Edit.' You can modify:

    • Title: Update the event name.

    • Date and Time: Adjust the start and end times.

    • Registration Deadline: Change the deadline for participant registration.

    • Description: Enhance or revise the event details.

  • Send Reminder: Click the 'Send Reminder' button to send a message to participants, ensuring everyone is informed and reminded of the event.

  • Add Members: Invite and add more participants to the event as needed.


Managing Past Events

For expired events, clicking on the event will provide detailed information such as the title, date, location, and other relevant details for documentation purposes. You can also:

  • Delete Event: Click on the three small dots (...) and choose 'Delete' to remove the event from the list of expired events.

  • Edit Event: If necessary, you can update the event details, including the title, date and time, registration deadline, and description.

The club is the host, no contact person

Hosts and host status are visible in the event.

Recurring events

Not possible to set recurring club events

You can set up recurring events that repeat every week, Every 2 weeks or Every month. You can set when the repeat is ending (Never or on a date)

Communication

You can set up an email that members can respond to.

You can send a message to admin or admin can send you a message that appers under Messages in the app.

Comments

No comments.

Admin can choose to enable or disable comments.

Tasks

No tasks

Admins can set up tasks.

Files

You can add files to the event (max 10 MB)

Default attendance status

Unanswered

Unanswered or admins can set to automatically attending.

Default is None, but admin can set up a limit up to 400.

People who join after the maximum capacity limit is reached, will be set on a waiting list. If a spot becomes available they will be asked to confirm their attendance.

Export attending list

Not possible, but there is a workaround to sort on status and mark all members in list, copy and paste in a document or sheet.

Admin can export attendance list (Excel) if he/she logs into spond.com and do it from there. Not possible to export list from app.
