Calendar Synchronisation
Updated over a week ago

If you use the Spond app, you can synchronise events to your phone's calendar, iCal (iOS) or Google Calendar (Android). The first time you use the Spond app, you'll be asked to synchronise Spond with your calendar. If you decline, you'll be able to enable calendar synchronization in the app.

FAQs

I use an iPhone. Do I need to grant full access when activating calendar synchronisation?

In 2023, Apple changed the authorisation model for calendar access, therefore Spond must be given full access.

The Full access option is the only one that will allow the Spond app to make any changes that occur during an event from the Spond app, e.g. if the admin changes the date or time. Full access is also the only option that can remove rejected or cancelled events.
If you don't want to grant full access to your calendar to sync events, the only option is to not grant access and rely on the Spond app home screen instead.
