Files
Updated this week

In each group, you'll find a separate tab for files. Here you can upload both files and images for your members. You can also create your own folders with multiple files and decide whether the folders should be visible to all members or only to admins. Folders with locks are only visible to admins.

Creating a Folder

If you upload a file directly into Files without creating a folder first, the file will be accessible to everyone in the group. It can be beneficial to create one or more folders to maintain better organisation and structure of the files, as well as to upload files that are only visible to the administrators in the group.

It is not possible to specify which administrators have access to files within a folder restricted to administrators. You can, however, decide the permissions for different administrator roles, including the ability to create, edit, and delete files and folders. Read more here about how to manage access for different administrator roles.

What file types can be uploaded?

You can upload files in format with pdf, docx, excel, and png and jpg image files.

The limit on the size of attachments is 100 MB. We currently have no limit on the number of files that can be uploaded per person or group.

Can't upload new files

If you are an admin but still do not see the + sign or the add button when you are in the Files overview, this means that your admin role does not include rights to upload files. In this case, you need to check which admin role you've in the group and what access this includes. If you do not have this access, you must contact an admin in the group who has access to edit admins.

How to check which admin role you've been allocated

  1. Open the group where you are trying to upload a file

  2. Select Members inside the group

  3. Select the tab Administrators

  4. Select your own name and look under Administrator roles

How to check what rights your admin role permits

Open the same group where you checked which admin role you've (you can have different roles in the different groups)

  1. Select the three small dots (...) to go to group settings

  2. Scroll down to Roles and rights

  3. Select the role you've

  4. If you do not have the necessary rights, contact an admin in the group who is authorised to edit admins.
