About payment requests
Updated over a week ago

In Spond Club, you can create payment requests to manage your club's finances. After a payment request is created and sent, members using the Spond app will receive push notifications. Those not using the app will receive notifications via email or SMS, depending on the contact information registered.

You will be able to monitor payment status through an updated overview that shows paid, unpaid, and overdue payments. If a payment is overdue, you can send a payment reminder, which will be sent both via the app and by email to those not using the app.

Payment Requests in the Menu

To access the payment requests homepage, click on "Finance" in the left menu in Spond Club, then click on "Payment Requests". You will now have the option to add new payment requests, search for a payment request, click into a payment request, browse through active/archived payment requests, and more.

Add Payment Request

Click on the "Add Payment Request" button to create a new payment request.

Active and Archived Payment Requests

The active payment requests page is what you first see after clicking on Payment Requests in the side menu. At the top left, you will see the text "Active" and "Archived". Click on Archived to view the overview of archived payment requests.

How to Archive a Payment Request?

In Spond Club, you can archive payment requests to keep track of and organize past requests that are no longer active. When you archive a payment request, it is moved to a separate section called "Archive", and it will no longer be visible in the active payment requests list.

While viewing active payment requests, hover your mouse to the left of the payment request name you wish to archive, and you will see a white box appear that you can click to check ☑️.

Once the box is checked, you will see a button at the top left named "Archive". Click this button to archive the payment request.

You can also archive a payment request while viewing it by clicking the three dots at the top right → "Archive".

💡 Tip
If you want to archive multiple requests simultaneously, check several boxes before clicking the "Archive" button.

After one or more payment requests are archived, any unpaid claims will remain active and can be paid. If you want to exempt unpaid claims from an archived payment, you must do so by clicking on the specific payment and adjusting the claim.

How to Reactivate a Payment Request?

Have you archived a payment request and regret it? You can easily move the request back to "Active".

Click on the "Archived" tab at the top left, click on the payment request you want to reactivate, and when you are in the desired payment request, you will see a light orange box with the heading "This payment is archived" and a button "Move to Active". Click this to move the payment request back to active.

Search, Filter, and Columns

  • Use the search field 🔍 to search for payment requests.

  • You can also add filters to show only payment requests within specific parameters.

  • Use columns to, for example, only see a list of payment requests with titles and how many have paid.

  • If you click on a column name, that column will be displayed in descending ▾ order, click on the name again, and it will be displayed in ascending ▴ order.
