Subscription payments make it easy to collect recurring fees, like monthly training subs or seasonal membership costs, directly through Spond Club. Once set up, these payments run automatically as long as a member is part of the group or has a specific member type.
This guide walks you through how to create, manage and track subscription payments for your club.
⚠️ NOTE! This feature is only available to Spond Club admins.
What are subscription payments?
Subscription payments let you automate recurring charges for members who belong to a group or member type in Spond Club. They’re perfect for:
Training fees that recur weekly or monthly
Seasonal membership or coaching costs
Ongoing facility or equipment contributions
Once a subscription is created, Spond sends payment requests directly to members via the Spond app. Payments repeat automatically until the member is removed.
Why use subscription payments?

For instance, if you exempt the first subscription, originally due in 7 days with a charge date of 19th May, and the member pays the second subscription (due on 25th June) early on 12th May, Spond will display the subscriptions in chronological order based on payment and due dates.
