How Does the NIF Integration Work?
Updated over a month ago

🇳🇴 This article is only relevant for Norwegian Spond Club sports clubs

Norwegian sports clubs can benefit from integrating Spond Club with the Norwegian Sports Federation (NIF). When a club has integrated with NIF, they will see some new menu items and functions.

With NIF Integration, the club can:

  • Use Member Types to indicate whether members should be reported to NIF or not.

  • Request missing information from members so that it can be submitted, either individually or in bulk.

  • Report members to NIF, either individually or in bulk.

  • Specify the sports affiliation of each member. You can set relevant sports branches for each group, which will automatically apply to all members in the groups, so you don’t have to update each member individually.

  • Report payments that are specifically marked as NIF payments. For example, membership fees and training fees will be automatically reported to NIF.

    ⚠️ NOTE!

The club is responsible for ticking the appropriate box in the Service if a membership fee is to be reported to NIF. If this is not done correctly, Spond will collaborate with the club to correct the issue. In such cases, the club will be invoiced the applicable additional cost per member, based on the number of members, as well as an administrative fee of NOK 10,000.
