How to View, Edit, Delete, and Add Roles in Spond Club Settings

Club roles in Spond Club allow admins to perform specific tasks and view important information. This guide explains how to view, edit, delete, and add club roles, ensuring your team has the correct permissions for efficient club management.


View a Role

To view existing roles:

  1. Go to the 'Club Roles' section.

  2. You’ll see a list of created roles, showing the role name and the number of people assigned to each role.

  3. Click on any role to access its overview page, where you can see the permissions granted to the role and a list of group administrators assigned to it.


Edit a Role

To edit a role:

  1. In the 'Club Roles' section, find the role you want to edit.

  2. Click the three dots to the right of the role and select 'Edit' to go to the role's editing page.

  3. You can also access the editing page from the role overview by clicking the three dots at the top right and selecting 'Edit'.

  4. Change the role name or adjust its permissions, then click 'Save' at the bottom right.


Delete a Role

To delete a role:

  1. In 'Club Roles', click the three dots next to the role you want to delete and select 'Delete'.

  2. If you're on the role overview page, click the three dots at the top right and select 'Delete'.

  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

NOTE: If the role is currently assigned to administrators, you must remove the role from those individuals before deleting it. You can read how to do this in the administrator settings.


Add a Club Role

To add a new club role:

  1. In the 'Club Roles' section, click the 'Add Club Role' button at the top right.

  2. On the role creation page, name the role and customise the permissions.

  3. Click 'Save' at the bottom right to finalise the role.

NOTE: Assign roles to administrators by going to the 'Club Administrators' setting.
