How members are transferred from Spoortz to Spond

⚠️ The content of this article only applies to Norway, in connection with Spond’s acquisition of Spoortz.

We recommend reviewing the membership list to ensure all information is accurate and up to date. This includes removing inactive members, coaches, or guardians who are no longer associated with the club.

⚠️ NOTE! If you have members who are to be removed from the club, it is highly recommended to do so before the migration.


How members are transferred from Spoortz to Spond

The information stored about members in Spoortz will be transferred to Spond. When it comes to contact information, the following will happen:

  • For members over 18 years old, we will retain the existing email as their own (if no guardian is registered) – meaning no change.

  • For members under 18 years old, or those without an age specified, the email will be set as a custom payment contact (read more here).

  • Members without a specified age will be treated the same as those under 18 years old.

  • For members where we are certain the email belongs to a guardian, that email will be set up as the guardian’s email.
