Change Payment Contact in Spond Club
If you want to change the payment contact for a member in Spond Club, follow these steps:
Go to Members in the menu and select the member for whom you want to change the payment contact.
Scroll down to the field + Add Additional Guardian.
Add the new guardian by filling in the required fields.
Go to the dropdown menu for Payment Contact, and you should now be able to select the new guardian you just added as the payment contact.
Make sure to save your changes when you're done.
Custom Payment Contact
This is common in families where multiple adults are involved, or where an adult child manages their own training and activities, but a guardian is still responsible for paying the fees.
A custom payment contact will only have access to payment information, not membership details.
You can add a custom payment contact by accessing the member’s profile and selecting "Edit".
Scroll down to the Payment Contact field and select Custom Payment Contact from the dropdown menu.
If the independent payment contact is not a member of any groups in the club (which is often the case for external contacts), the payment information will be sent via email. If they are associated with a group in the club, they will receive the payment request in the app and have the option to pay for all.
