With the "Messages" feature in Spond Club, you can easily keep club members informed and engaged. You have the flexibility to reach out to the entire club or specific subgroups.

Create a message

  1. New message.

  2. Select recipients.

  3. Choose the desired recipient segment and add them. (Here, you can search for recipients or filter them by name, group, gender, role, and other relevant attributes, down to specific conditions like health issues and allergies).

  4. Tick the box if the recipient should be able to reply to the message. ⚠️ NOTE! It is not possible to receive replies directly in Spond Club, so an email address is required if this option is selected.

  5. Create a subject and write your message. If desired, you can also upload attachments (max 10MB).

  6. Send the message.

Keep track of all messages in your club, and easily find all previous messages and replies in one place.

Where do the members receive the message?

  • Members who have registered with an email address or mobile number in Spond will receive the message in the Spond app.

  • Those who do not use the Spond app and only have email notifications enabled will receive the message via email.

  • If the club has entered a mobile number for a member, but the member has only logged into the Spond app with an email address, you will not be able to send a message to this member. In that case, you will see "missing contact point."

  • For members who have a phone number and to whom you can send a message, it will now say "Spond profile."
