Spond’s line-up feature is specifically designed for football teams. This tool streamlines the process of organising and displaying team formations, providing a more intuitive and efficient way to manage match planning and share it with players.
How to use the Line-up feature?
Open the app
Create a match event. Read about how to create a match event here.
Once the match event is created and you are in the event, you will see "Line-up" further down the page.
Tap "Create Line-up"
Add a title for the line-up; the default title is "Starting Line-up"
Select visibility
All invitees
Hosts and administrators
Select team size
Choose from the pre-made team formations or create your own formation
After you have created or chosen a formation, you will see an overview of the pitch and the players' positions. Tap the ➕ sign on the different positions to assign them to an invited player.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and add any substitutes
When everything is ready, tap “Save” at the top right

Yes, you can create your own formation by selecting "Custom" under formations. You can then move the white circles around the pitch to wherever you want.
When you're finished, you can tap the padlock at the top right of the pitch overview to lock the positions. By tapping the ➕ sign in the circles, you can assign the chosen position to an invited player.

Yes, you can create multiple line-ups, for example, one for the first half and another for the second half of a match.
