In Spond Club, the Settings section under Your Club allows you to easily change the club's name, code, and logo. This guide walks you through how to update these details, ensuring your club's branding stays current and professional.
💡 An administrator must have the "administer" access level for the "Settings" permission in order to access this menu. Read more here about club roles and permissions.

Club Code
The Club code is part of the URL link used for forms related to joining the club, registration forms, and other activities created in Spond Club under the side menu options Club registration forms and Booking forms.

NIF integration (only available for clubs connected to Norges Idrettsforbund)
Member import from NIF
The "Start initial NIF import" button is used to fetch and synchronise members from NIF to Spond Club. The initial member import is carried out by a Spond representative when the NIF integration is first activated. The function should be used manually if changes have been made, for example if a NIF member was disconnected by mistake, or if the club suspects that there are club members registered in NIF who are not available in Spond Club.
💡 Any new members retrieved through the synchronisation will appear in the "Members from NIF" list, which can be found in the Members side menu, and must be processed there.
You will also see information about when the import was last run, as well as the current status.Possible statuses:
Started – The import has started but is not yet complete.
Completed – The most recent import has finished.
Error occurred – The import did not complete due to an error.
⚠️ NOTE!Errors may occur if the club no longer has Spond selected as its membership system in NIF, and therefore does not have access to synchronisation.
Status for import oppdateres ikke automatisk. Siden må oppdateres for å se eventuelle statusendringer.
Importen gjennomføres som regel raskt, men kan ta noe lengre tid for store klubber eller ved høy systembelastning.
Synchronize NIF branches for all membership
The "Synchronize NIF branches for all membership" button ensures that members are assigned the correct NIF branch based on the group they belong to and the NIF branch that group is registered with in NIF. Assignment normally happens automatically, provided the member is NIF verified or has a NIF synchronised membership type, is added to a group, and the group has a NIF branch selected.
If a member does not have the correct NIF branch despite these requirements being met, an administrator can use this button to run the synchronisation manually. Please note that if the requirements are not met, the synchronisation will not assign a new NIF branch.
Synchronize NIF org structure
The "Synchronize NIF org structure" button retrieves the club’s available NIF branches directly from NIF. It should be used when changes have been made in NIF or in KlubbAdmin, such as the club being linked to a new branch, a new federation, or when updates have been made to the branch structure. To make new branches available in Spond Club and selectable on groups, the organisational structure must be synchronised using this button.
